    La casa es muy bonita, tiene un pequeño jardin y sitio para aparcar el coche en el patio. Además Giorgio es un encanto de persona, que te ayuda en todo, si hace falta te recoge en el aeropuerto, te lo facilita todo y te hace sentirte como en casa.

    Le Piagge is situated in a quiet part of the city & has very comfortable accommodation with the added bonus of a garden which was lovely to sit in after the hustle & bustle of the city. Giorgio is an excellent host & we were very grateful for the taxis service, nothing was too much trouble, which made our stay in Pisa so much more enjoyable. We felt very relaxed and would stay here again.

    Georgio was absolutely amazing! He was so kind and helpful, not only with pick ups and drop offs but he drove us to nearby Pontedera so I could go to the Vespa Museum there AND he very kindly took me to his Doctor when I fell ill. A lovely B and B in a Lovely place.

    Siamo rimasti molto contenti della estrema gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario. Nonostante la struttura non fosse propriamente in centro, era comunque molto comoda dal momento che Pisa è una città che si gira a piedi molto facilmente. E se uno non volesse girare a piedi, c'è sempre il gentilissimo Giorgio che si offre di scarrozzarti dove vuoi!

    The Bed and Breakfast was average, but the services from its owner Giorgio were far and beyond. He took us for a tour of Pisa the afternoon we arrived. The next day he took us for a tour of Pisa to places not usually visited by tourists, in his own vehicle. Giorgio suggested family run restaurants that were fabulous. Once we had visited Pisa, Giorgio suggested we visit Luca. We took the train and Giorgio picked us up from the train station, without any extra charge. The next time I visit Pisa or should any friends visit, we will stay at Le Piagge again. Thank you Giorgio!!!!

    This B&B is situated in a quiet part of Pisa close to a pleasant tree-lined riverside walk. There is an excellent Trattoria within a short walking distance. Giorgio, the owner, is cheerful and helpful and is full of local knowledge. He picked us up from the airport and aranged to meet us with our luggage to run us to the airport when we left. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, with no traffic noise. I can recomend Le Piagge for either a short stop over or as a base.

    First off...cannot say enough about Giorgio. It is very clear that he loves his city and he wants you to love it, too. He insisted on taking us to the city center so we could explore. He gave directions to get back and his phone number in case we got lost...which we did. He was so extremely helpful. He was also very friendly...the friendliest of all the places we stayed, and we stayed at 7 different places during our two weeks. He totally made our stop in Pisa/Lucca worth it. Nice accommodations, and you could move around in the bathroom, which is not the norm. Breakfast was the usual, but we enjoyed it nonetheless, as well as the ride back to the train station. A good price for our stay, too. Very reasonable. I would highly recommend Le Piagge.

    The owner of the B&B is wonderful and hospitable and really goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and interesting. The room was large and cleaned to a high standard as was the ensuite bathroom. The location is very good, quiet with a fantastic garden and barbaque area. Giorgio is a very generous and wonderful person, I really enjoyed my stay at La Piagge.

    As other posts have mentioned, Giorgio is a truly amazing host--incredibly helpful and eager to share his city with guests. We are a family of four (including two boys ages 6 and 9) He picked us up at the train station promptly and showed us around his neighborhood, pointing out playgrounds for our kids and a beautiful greenway. Arriving at the B&B, he offered our young sons some juice and made us feel right at home--in fact, we felt like we were being greeted by our new "uncle from Pisa"! We did not have a car, so we were pleased that the B&B is a very easy and pleasant 20-minute walk to the center of town. Giorgio gave us tips on the best places to check out after visiting the Leaning Tower, pointing us in the direction of the university quarter, a fabulous gelateria, and lesser-known sights of the town. The B&B is in a quiet, leafy area of Pisa, one block away from the Lungarno river walk, which is place Pisanos go to stroll after dinner. Giorgio pointed out a good, reasonably priced neighborhood restaurant and a popular local pizzeria with a beautiful terrace within 2-4 blocks from the B&B. The rooms at the B & B are simple but spacious, impeccably clean, and freshly painted and outfitted, and Giorgio's garden is a nice place to sit and relax. For breakfast, Giorgio made our cappucinos and hot chocolates to order and excellent pastries from the local bakery. Later, he dropped us off at the airport--Giorgio made our family's visit to Pisa and our departure from the airport a fun and stress-free experience. We will definitely stay with him again when our travels bring us to Pisa!

    Georgio, the owner is very helpful and friendly ,he give as a lift all the time ,to the city center,to the supermarket ,to the train station and to the airport for free,he speaks english very well.We stayed there one week and we had really good time .The garden is nice place to have a rest.I absolutly recommend that place .

    Everything. Giorgio was fantastic - gave us lifts everywhere, recommended places to see and eat, and was the perfect host at the B&B. It is a bit out of town but the riverside walk along the Piagge is great and there's a brilliant pizzeria nearby. The bedrooms, breakfast and garden are first class. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone!

    Our stay at Le Piagge was a true delight! Giorgio went above and beyond OVER and OVER again - we were amazed at his kindness and at how much he obviously enjoys providing awesome customer service and ensuring you are having a wonderful holiday. Sadly we were only able to stay one night, but Giorgio was kind enough to drive us to the best shopping areas, dining, to the leaning tower and finally to the airport. WE MOST DEFINITELY will stay at his B&B again, Lord willing. It was spacious, clean, had a large shower and bathroom, and a relaxing, tranquil backyard. His B&B is located in a quite neighborhood just a short distance from the wonderful walking path beside the Arno river. The breakfast was delicious with fresh juice and croissants, cappuccino and other things. We were amazed at how much there is to see in Pisa and how nicely laid out it is. We will definitely allow more time here on our next trip. Giorgio is a wonderful, positive human being and his enthusiasm and passion for life is contagious.

    Giorgio the host was the best we have ever encountered. he offered to drive us anywhere and anytime we wanted. he helped us with everything we needed including taking us to the car rental pick up place at the end of our stay. The room was clean and neat, the flowers outside were colorful and uplifting. he recommended resturants in the area and sites to visit.

    Il "tocco umano" del proprietario, Giorgio, è impagabile: niente è un problema per lui e si fa in quatto per aiutare! E' gentile, simpatico e disponibilissimo. La struttura è un piccolo angolo di paradiso di campagna.... in città.
    SE fossimo stati dei turisti, forse avremmo trovato la posizione della struttura un pò fuori "zona"...

    E' un posto molto carino. La camera era pulitissima e grande. Il proprietario, Giorgio, è una persona eccezionale, molto disponibile e gentile. E' stato un soggiorno piacevolissimo.

    Disponibilità e assistenza del proprietario, pulizia generale, aspetto della struttura. Il breve soggiorno è stato particolarmente favorito dalla piena collaborazione che il proprieatrio ha fornito per i tragitti , e per il piccolo tour sulle caratteristiche dalla città.     Giorgio is an excellent host. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at our car hire company. The accomodation is outstanding. Breakfast was superb, with fresh pastries. Giorgio also makes a great espresso! Would thoroughly recommend this establishment. It's location is also a plus, in a quiet tree lined suburb near the river.

    Giorgio, the owner/proprietor of le Piagge B&B, is the most wonderful host that we encountered on our 2 - 1/2 week Italy vacation. He became like a friend and went out of his way to help us, to make our stay comfortable, including recommending places to go and driving us to various places to enjoy Pisa entirely, picking us up from and taking us to the aeroport and other places as needed and as desired just for fun. His B&B is very clean, and his care and kindness in sharing his B&B makes it like a wonderful "home" in Pisa. Breakfasts of fres pastries and cappuccinos were wonderful.We came back for an additional day at the end our our trip and will very much look forward to returning again!

    excellent owner, George picked us up in front of station , guilded us around the city, dropped us at the one of the best restaurants in the city. Next morning he sent us to the airport. He did all these for free and rejected the extra money we offered.
    There might be some problems with bathing hot water system. It could be warm and suddenly turned to cold and then to warm again.

    Le Piagge was an excellent place to stay in Pisa, and Georgio was a fantastic host. As we were arriving by car after dark, we did find it a bit difficult to find as it was tucked up a small alley or street and we couldn't easily see the number, but Georgio emerged to direct us in. He went out of his way to make us welcome, even offering to drop us in town and pick us up after we had enjoyed a morning visiting the Leaning Tower and cathedral so that we did not have to cope with the one-way street system.

    Proprietor Giorgio's friendliness and helpfulness. It was especially great to get transportation from the train station to the B&B and later to the airport. He also drove us into the center of Pisa for site seeing. A great value for the price and located in a lovely neighborhood along the Arno River.
    Completely satisfied and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

    The facilities were excellent, very comfortable bed, excellent ensuite facilities. The room was very clean. I stayed for one night and the owner picked me up from the train station, dropped me inot town, picked me up adfter dinner and then dropped me to the airport in teh morning. He is a very intersting, very friendly accommodating guy.
    The B & B is slightly out of town. But Giorgio really wants to make your stay enjoyable. He dropped me in town and picked me up. It made it very easy that he drove me to the airport also. This made it a perfect option for me.

    We were very impressed with Le Piagge, it was very clean and comfortable. The host show us great hospitatilty, excellant service, pick up from the airport and dropped us the following day to the train station, we were sorry we only had such a short stay. Georgio provided us with a great selection of pastries for breakfast.
    There was nothing that did not satisy us, only problem we somehow ended up with lots of water in the bathroom after showering, they may have been our problem not sure maybe it was the postion of the shower screen.

    Very highly recommended. The accommodation was clean and very well appointed. Georgio was the perfect host - ever attentive but very attuned to our privacy. He could not have been of greater service to our needs as tourists with a very limited time in Pisa. He picked us up at the station on our arrival, took us to the tower next morning, advised us of the things to do, see, and be wary of, then again picked up and delivered us back to the station in good time for our onward journey.

    Quello che ha caratterizzato in particolar modo il soggiorno presso la struttura Le Piagge è stata la cortesia e l'affabilità del padrone di casa :Giorgio. Il b&b si trova in una suggestiva zona della città, vicina quanto basta al centro storico ma al riparo dal "traffico" di turisti e residenti. La struttura è molto carina, la qualità del servizio eccellente.
    Non c'è nulla di negativo da rilevare.

    La cosa che più mi ha soddisfatto è stata la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Giorgio, una persona veramente squisita e disponibilissima, tant'è che il primo giorno gli ho chiesto un consiglio per un buon ristorante e lui ci ha accompagnato con la sua macchina fino in montagna.. Inoltre mi ha stupito la stanza, nuova e molto accogliente dotata persino di vasca idromassaggio. Infine la posizione, molto tranquilla e non troppo distante dal centro.
    Diciamo che la colazione potrebbe essere appena un pò più abbondante anche se i croissant e il cappuccino sono squisiti.. per il resto tutto perfetto!

    Elegimos el BB Le Piagge por los comentarios positivos de otras personas y la verdad es que quedamos encantados. EL BB es una casa individual muy bonita en una zona residencial tranquila a unos 20 min andando del centro de Pisa. Giorgio (el propietario) nos llevó con su coche del BB al centro y después a la estación de trenes. También vino a recogernos al aeropuerto! El trato fue muy bueno y la habitación era muy espaciosa y limpia y tenía aire acondicionado. Recomiendo a todos la estacia en BB Le Piagge. ¡Un saludo Giorgio! :)

    This is an excellent B&B, I think the best we have stayed in. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The area is probably the best in Pisa, near the riverside walk and in a very quiet location. There are pizza resaturants and a shopping centre nearby. It around 15-20 mins walk along the river to the centre of Pisa, and the same to the railway station. What makes the B&B so good however is Giorgio. He is the perfect host and extremely professional in all that he does. He is kind and attentive, and helped us in so many ways.

    We were met by Giorgio at the airport who took us to the bed and breakfast to drop off our bags, then took us to the tower and duomo. He couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.Our accommodation of 2 bedrooms and a sitting room/breakfast room were immaculate and air-conditioned. He took us to the airport the next day to assist us with hiring a car which was really helpful. Great stay in Pisa.

    Ritengo di maggiore soddisfazione la perfetta pulizia delle camere ma soprattutto l'estrema cordialità e disponibilità del gestore sig. kolb anche nei confronti del mio cane che seppur abituato a vivere in casa è comunque di taglia medio grande: boxer.

Georgio was unbelievable, he picked us all up at the train station (4 of us with lots & lots of luggage!), the next day took us into the city to show us around, & was willing to drive us anywhere at anytime. He even took us back to the station when we were leaving, helped us with all of the luggage & showed us the right platform, he was even willing to wait with us until the train arrived ! Just unbelievable hospitality, hopefully we can make it back someday soon to stay there again....he is the BEST

    From the b&b you can see the hills of Pisa and in one minute you reach the river arno. Le piagge is in the greenest area of Pisa. The owner George is very, very friendly. He is always there and help you in every situation. Two minutes from "le piagge" is the best pizzeria of the world - called "Le Ninfe".

    The owner Georgio made our stay very comfortable. He drove us to and from the train station and on top of it all, he transported us to and from the tower without any cost. He is very professional in running his business and we highly recommends his B&B. We did not even know about the second tower he showed us!

    Hi, What, we most like about our stay in the B&B Le Piagge was Giogio. The location is not bad, but it is not near the most turistic part of Pisa, it is a litlle bit fur from Piazza Miracolli, where the Leaning Tower is. But this is not a problem with Giorgio. He is wonderful. Picks you up wherever you need, and prepares you the breakfast in the morming. His capuccino is one of the best ones, i´ve ever tried. The rooms are clean and confortable. A think thats all. Bye

    Le piagge is a lovely place, with a big garden outside, very big and clean rooms and the manager is excellent. He was very kind, and took us at the airport and then he took back to the train station. We would repeat if we would come back to Pisa.

    This B&B is nice, clean and well decorated, located in the nice quiet area just outside the city centre (but very close to it). However, the greatest thing about this B&B is the host Giorgio. It is hard to find a more hospitable and helpful host. He picked us up from the station by car, took us to the city centre and the next day to the airport. He gave us a little tour of the city centre and was a pleasure to talk to. In short, I highly recommend this B&B.

    Georgio is lovely, he's so helpful. He drove us into Pisa because it was raining. On our last day he drove us to the airport in the morning; when we got there we realised that we'd left one of our bags at the bed and breakfast!!! Georgio drove us straight back to fetch it and then drove us back again to the airport (10 mins drive.) He was so kind to us and didn't once get impatient or cross with us for being so stupid ! He's a lovely person and I hope everyone appreciates his genuine kindness as much as we did.

    Host was very friendly, helpful and informative, and was prepared to run a private taxi service for his guests, at no extra cost. This offset the fact that you were not in the centre of the city.
    Breakfast is at a cafe down the road, however was rushed for us, as the host had to pick up another client. Not ideal.

    A little far to walk to town, although the host generally transported you about, which was great, however if he was otherwise occupied I could see it being a annoying.

    Service rendered by owner, Georgio, far exceeds normal standards. He is extremely accommodating and goes "above and beyond" to help you in any way he can. I would highly recommend a stay at this B&B because of this. The location is also excellent, next to the Arno river, a great boulevard to walk. The facilities are clean & new.

    Georgio the owner of the B & B could not have been more helpful. As part of the service he offers transport to and from the Airport. He also transported us to and from the railway station when we went sightseeing and to the Airport to hire a car when we wanted to go further into the countryside and public transport would have been difficult. All this was included in the price meant no additional expenses. The Room was light and airy and the air conditioning was operated by remote control so if it got hot in the night it was easy to switch on/off without getting out of bed. The shower was modern and hot at any time during the day and night. It was good eating locally as the B & B is situated in the only green belt area in Pisa where the locals go. Food was reasonably priced, plenty of choice and the waiters were polite and friendly. They gave us complimentary coffee after our meal. We fully recommend this B & B and may even go back in the near future and stay a bit longer (our holiday was cut short as my father in law died).
    The registration of B & B has changed apparently so it was not possible for the owner to provide breakfast in our accommodation. The owner took us out for breakfast each morning to cafeterias near the River which compensated us fully! I would suggest that you take a travel kettle etc so you can make your own early morning or late evening hot drinks. Also an extension cable if you like to style your hair every morning as the power points are not near the mirror. There weren't any chairs in the room to sit and relax but in the foyer downstairs was a table and chairs where you could sit and read.

    Good location, high level of comfort. Exceptionally nice owner and services, including free of charge transport to and from the the historic centre where parking is a problem. Breakfast is provided in a nearby caffe preferred by local residents.

    Very good sevice, the owner did much more than we expected. He drove us to the airport at half past three in the morning. An he helped us to get the hired car to the airport the evening before even at the cost of beeng late to his own appointment with frends. He really goes the second mile. We sure will be back.

    The host georgiou gives a hospitable , warm welcome above & beyond normal expectations. Nothing was too much trouble and our last day in Italy became most enjoyable and our exit to the airport stress free with georgiou leading the way to drop our car off & then take us to the departure door. Thank you very much.
    A few glasses by the bed & larger towels would be most appreciated.

    We had a lovely time staying at Le Piagge, the service was fantastic, Giorgio was very helpful and friendly. Being picked up from the airport when we arrived and dropped off at the train station when we left was great as we didn't have to worry about our luggage.

    We loved the fact that the B&B wasn't exactly in the city centre but two minutes away from the Arno river and a lovely, leafy park running along the river, where you could see Pisanos resting, walking their dogs, etc. It was a very nice break after all the hustle of Rome and Florence. The host couldn't be friendlier! He drove us everyday to and from the city centre and to the airport! And to be honest, it was the nicest room we booked in Italy!

    The best stay in Pisa. The place is full of atmosfere and the best service you can imagine. The room is very nice and clean and you can walk to the city in 20 min alongside the river Arno. We could not imagine living another place if we visit Pisa in the future. Thank you Giorgio!
