Location just outside the historical area suited me fine for that little peace and quiet. Breakfast great, wifi a plus, friendliness and local knowledge a big plus. One would be very hard to please if they did not enjoy their stay at this b&b.

There was no disappointing moments at this b&b.

Every moment spent in Florence was made easier and comfortable with our beautiful host, Carla and her equally gorgeous daughter, Elizabeth. They treated us like family (even hanging out some washing one day!). Our room was clean with a very 'Italian' feel to it. The bathroom had all the comforts including a washing machine, which also included detergent! Carla spoilt us with delicious breakfasts and her culinary talents. We would recommend B&B Leonardo Da Vinci to anyone travelling to Florence.

Our hostess was very nice and we could dommunicate with her very well.

The beds were not as comfortable as I would wish (too hard for a good night´s sleep).
The bathroom was 'ok' but would be even better with a modern shower.

I stayed in bed&breakfast leonardo da vinci alone for a week & I must say that lonelyness is the last thing I felt there. such a warm hospitality that I havn't seen before. In the morning I got a big breakfast, enough for two people, with branflakes, fruits, bread, yogurt, confiture, croissant & a tea jug. me specifically did not get the chance to eat a dinner at "da vinci" but I bet it's perfect. my bed was organized when I came back home, which gave me a good feeling.. it's also 10 minutes by foot to the old city & close enough to the central train station "santa maria novella" which will get you any where in italy.

We got quick response on our questions (via e-mail). Carla offered even service before arrival! She arranged transport (her son was waiting for us) from station to B&B. Like anyone else, we also think the breakfast was extraordinary. With a little bit of Italian and much of English we managed to have a conversation, which we have enjoyed. We would like to stay again at this B&B!! Carla, thank you again for your hospitality and the extra service. Ciao, arriverdeci, Hugo & Jose Ursem.

Carla, the owner of the B&B, was very helpful and her kindness was really appreciable. And it was a pleasure to discuss with her in the evening when coming back from visiting. Regarding the facilities, I had a big room with view on the street and my friend had one room with view on the garden. I saw in a previous comment that noise was a problem for the room on the street but I can assure you that double windows were enough against any noise. Breakfast was a very good moment and Florentine pastries and fresh fruits were as sweet as the discussion with Carla we had while eating. Unfortunately, being not Italian speaking appeared to be frustrating, but Carla speaking also English helped a lot! At last, room cleansing was great, towels being changed every day like in hotels. Well, I would have stayed one more week if I could!

Just to say, I was unsatisfied with nothing.

Carla is the perfect host. Helpfull and full of attention for her guest. The best kitchen in town. For one who likes italian spirit and wants to escape from the hotel-lobbys and standards of cold luxery, shurely one of the best adresses.

I had one of the best experiences of my life during my time in Florence. The accommodations and hospitality were a central part of that.

I wish I could have stayed longer.
